Pokemon of the Week: Weavile!

The new Pokemon of the Week is...Weavile! Weavile is a Dark/Ice Type with the Ability Pressure and the Hidden Ability Pickpocket. You can't find it in X, Y, Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire, but you can catch it's previous form, Sneasel.
                           Sneasel                                                                         Weavile

If you're playing X and Y, you can find Sneasel in Route 17 or in an Ice or Dark type Friend Safari. You can not catch in in Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire, but you can transfer from X and Y or look for it on the GTS. To turn it into a Weavile you need to make it level up at night while holding a Razor Claw. To get a Razor Claw you need to go to the Battle Maison and save up 48 BP to get it.
In my opinion, the best Ability for Weavile is Pressure, so don't worry about trying to get a Hidden Ability. The best Nature for a Weavile is Jolly. A Jolly Nature increases Speed and decreases Special Attack. After you've obtained a Jolly Sneasel/Weavile Super Train its Attack and Speed stats until you max them out.
The moveset I use suits how I like to battle, but you can change it to fit your style if you like. It consists of Night Slash, X-Scissor, Ice Punch, and Shadow Claw. It has a good spread of types and it gets a STAB from Night Slash and Ice Punch.
A good item for it is the Focus Band. The Focus Band gives you a 10% chance of surviving with 1 HP from a move that otherwise would've made you faint. You get the Focus Band by purchasing it for 48 BP at the Battle Maison. I use this since Weavile has such terrible Defense and Special Defense stats.
So that's how I use my Weavile. Feel free to suggest next week's Pokemon of the Week or put other ways you can use Weavile!

Pokemon of the Week: Heracross!

So every Friday I'm going to post a Pokemon of the Week. I'll show how I use them when I battle and explain it the best I can. So, without further adieu, the Pokemon of the Week is...Heracross!
                                                                            Heracross

Heracross is a Bug/Fighting type with the abilities Swarm and Guts. His Hidden Ability it Moxie. If you're playing ORAS you can find him in the Safari Zone. If you're playing X or Y you can find him on Route 12 (In Y only) or in a Bug Type Friend Safari in both X and Y. Hidden Abilities are hard to get, but they are worth it in the long run.
In ORAS he is in the top left corner of the Safari Zone in the tall grass. Use your DexNav to look for Heracross after you've caught one. It'll eventually tell you what Ability it will have as you search for it more. It will take awhile to find a Heracross with Moxie (Its Hidden Ability) but you will eventually. And if you have X or Y it's pretty easy to find a Hidden Ability in a Friend Safari, so just make sure you have one with Heracross in it.
Next, Adamant is the best Nature for it to have. Naughty will work too. Once you catch it, be sure to Super Train it according to its IVs and Nature so it'll be strong. Don't stop until you've maxed out its stats.
Now for the moveset. A good moveset for a Moxie Heracross is Megahorn, Close Combat, Brick Break, and Sleep Talk. Sleep Talk is just in case your opponent puts you to sleep.
Finally, it is best for it to hold a Muscle Band. It boosts the power of Physical Moves by 10%. Since all of the moves in the suggested moveset are Physical, this is a very good item for it. You can also use a Choice Band, which raises the Attack stat 50%. The only downfall to this item is that you can only use the first move you select.
So that's how I use my Heracross. You can suggest the next Pokemon of the Week in the comments or feel free to suggest other ways to use Heracross!

Hoopa Officially Unveiled!

So we've known about Hoopa for a little over a year now, but it's been officially unveiled by the Pokemon Company! I don't have details about when the distribution will start, but I'll post something once I hear about it. I really like Hoopa. It looks cool and I like its type. It'll be the main Pokemon of the 18th Pokemon movie.
